The Trump Administration’s Dirty Water Rule removes protections for more than 90% of New Mexico’s surface water. Our state agencies can and should step up and fill the gaps to protect our water and the legislature must equip the agency with the funding they need to tackle this vital work.

The New Mexico Environment Department joined with other states to file a lawsuit against the Dirty Water Rule.
